Copyright and sources

Every passage carries its source. We respect both copyright and the original text.

Public domain: the author died long ago, or the work entered the U.S. public domain (works first published in 1930 or earlier entered on 2026-01-01). These may be shown in full.

Modern public texts: still in copyright but officially free to read (e.g. Berkshire letters, Oaktree memos). We show a 100–300 word excerpt and link to the official text.

Modern copyrighted books: catalogue entries, short quotations, and purchase/library links only. No chapter text.

If you are a rights holder and believe a passage is used improperly, email copyright@billionare.me with the URL and proof of rights. We will review and remove it.
