「義理無定在，無窮盡。吾與子言，不可以少有所得，而遂謂止此也。再言之十年、二十年、五十年，未有止也。」 他日，又曰：「聖如堯、舜，然堯、舜之上善無盡；惡如桀、紂，然桀、紂之下惡無盡。使桀、紂未死，惡寧止此乎？使善有盡時，文王何以『望道而未之見』？」
