朋友觀書，多有摘議晦庵者。先生曰：「是有心求異，即不是。吾說與晦庵時有不同者，為入門下手處有毫釐千里之分，不得不辯。然吾之心與晦庵之心，未嘗異也。若其餘文義解得明當處，如何動得一字？」
