又問：「用功收心時，有聲色在前，如常聞見，恐不是專一。」 曰：「如何欲不聞見？除是槁木死灰、耳聾目盲則可。只是雖聞見而不流去便是。」 曰：「昔有人靜坐，其子隔壁讀書，不知其勤惰。程子稱其甚敬。何如？」 曰：「伊川恐亦是譏他。」
