問：「『逝者如斯』，是說自家心性活潑潑地否？」 先生曰：「然。須要時時用致良知的功夫，方才活潑潑地，方才與他川水一般；若須臾間斷，便與天地不相似。此是學問極至處，聖人也只如此。」
