先生曰：「僊（仙）家說到虛，聖人豈能虛上加得一毫實？佛氏說到無，聖人豈能無上加得一毫有？但僊（仙）家說虛從養生上來，佛氏說無從出離生死苦海上來，卻於本體上加卻這些子意思在，便不是他虛無的本色了，便於本體有障礙。聖人只是還他良知的本色，更不著些子意在。良知之虛便是天之太虛，良知之無便是太虛之無形，日、月、風、雷、山、川、民、物，凡有貌象形色，皆在太虛無形中發用流行，未嘗作得天的障礙。聖人只是順其良知之發用，天地萬物俱在我良知的發用流行中，何嘗又有一物起於良知之外能作得障礙？」
