又曰：「孟子病源，從性無善無不善上見來。性無善無不善，雖如此說，亦無大差。但告子執定看了，便有個無善無不善的性在內。有善有惡又在物感上看，便有個物在外，卻做兩邊看了，便會差。無善無不善，性原是如此。悟得及時，只此一句便盡了，更無有內外之間。告子見一個性在內，見一個物在外；便見他於性有未透徹處。」
