問：「良知一而已，文王作《彖》，周公繫《爻》，孔子贊《易》，何以各自看理不同？」 先生曰：「聖人何能拘得死格？大要出於良知同，便各為說何害？且如一園竹，只要同此枝節，便是大同；若拘定枝枝節節都要高下大小一樣，便非造化妙手矣。汝輩只要去培養良知；良知同，更不妨有異處。汝輩若不肯用功，連笋也不曾抽得，何處去論枝節？」
