問：「聲、色、貨、利，恐良知亦不能無。」 先生曰：「固然。但初學用功，卻須掃除蕩滌，勿使留積。則適然來遇，始不為累，自然順而應之。良知只在聲、色、貨、利上用功，能致得良知精精明明、毫髮無蔽；則聲、色、貨、利之交，無非天則流行矣。」
