則是「學而知之」者，亦惟當學知此義理而已；「困而知之」者，亦惟當困知此義理而已。今學者之學聖人，於聖人之所能知者，未能「學而知之」，而顧汲汲焉求知聖人之所不能知者以為學，無乃失其所以希聖之方歟？凡此皆就吾子之所惑者而稍為之分釋，未及乎拔本塞源之論也。
