載祭明置。高子聞之，以告中寢諸子。中寢諸子告寡人，舍朝不鼎饋。中寢諸子告宮中女子曰：「公將有行，故不送公。」公言：「無行，女安聞之？」曰：「聞之中寢諸子。」索中寢諸子而問之：「寡人無行，女安聞之？」「吾聞之先人，諸侯舍於朝不鼎饋者，非有外事，必有內憂。」公曰：「吾不欲與汝及若，女言至焉，不得毋與女及若言。吾欲致諸侯，諸侯不至，若何哉？」「女子不辯於致諸侯，自吾不爲汙殺之事，人布職不可得而衣，故雖有聖人，惡用之？」
