問：「運之合滿安臧？」「二十歲而可廣，十二歲而聶廣，百歲傷神，周、鄭之禮移矣。則周律之廢矣，則中國之草木有移於不通之野者。然則人君聲服變矣，則臣有依駟之祿。婦人爲政，鐵之重反旅金。而聲好下曲，食好鹹苦，則人君日退。亟則谿陵山谷之神之祭更應，國之稱號亦更矣。視之亦變，觀之風氣，古之祭有時而星，有時而星熺，有時而熰，有時而朐。鼠應廣之實，陰陽之數也。華若落之名，祭之號也。是故天子之爲國，圖具其樹物也。」
