奚仲之爲車器也，方圜曲直，皆中規矩鉤繩。故機旋相得，用之牢利，成器堅固。明主猶奚仲也，言辭動作皆中術數，故衆理相當，上下相親。巧者，奚仲之所以爲器也，主之所以爲治也。斲削者，斤刀也。故曰：「奚仲之巧，非斲削也。」
