明主之舉事也，任聖人之慮，用衆人之力，而不自與焉，故事成而福生。亂主自智也，而不因聖人之慮；矜奮自功，而不因衆人之力；專用己，而不聽正諫，故事敗而禍生。故曰：「伐矜好專，舉事之禍也。」
