言之不可復者，其言不信也。行之不可再者，其行賊暴也。故言而不信則民不附，行而賊暴則天下怨。民不附，天下怨，此滅亡之所從生也，故明主禁之。故曰：「凡言之不可復，行之不可再者，有國者之大禁也。」
