人君唯無好金玉貨財，必欲得其所好，然則必有以易之。所以易之者何也？大官尊位，不然則尊爵重祿也。如是則不肖者在上位矣。然則賢者不爲下，智者不爲謀，信者不爲約，勇者不爲死。如是則敺國而捐之也。故曰：「金玉貨財之說勝，則爵服下流。」
