大夫曰：「春秋之法，君親無將，將而必誅。故臣罪莫重於弒君，子罪莫重於弒父。日者，淮南、衡山修文學，招四方遊士，山東儒、墨咸聚於江、淮之間，講議集論，著書數十篇。然卒於背義不臣，使謀叛逆，誅及宗族。晁錯變法易常，不用制度，迫蹙宗室，侵削諸侯，蕃臣不附，骨肉不親，吳、楚積怨，斬錯東市，以慰三軍之士而謝諸侯。斯亦誰殺之乎？」
