大夫曰：「道懸於天，物布於地，智者以衍，愚者以困。子貢以著積顯於諸侯、陶朱公以貨殖尊於當世。富者交焉，貧者贍焉。故上自人君，下及布衣之士，莫不戴其德，稱其仁。原憲、孔急，當世被饑寒之患，顏回屢空於窮巷，當此之時，迫於窟穴，拘於缊袍，雖欲假財信奸佞，亦不能也。」
