大夫曰：「今之學者，無太公之能，騏驥之才，有以蜂蠆介毒而自害也。東海成颙，河東胡建是也。二子者以術蒙舉，起卒伍，為縣令。獨非自是，無與合同。引之不來，推之不往，狂狷不遜，忮害不恭，刻轢公主，侵陵大臣。知其不可，而強行之，欲以幹名。所由不軌，果沒其身。未睹功業所至，而見東觀之殃，身得重罪，不得以壽終。狡而以為知，訐而以為直，不遜以為勇，其遭難，故亦宜也。」
