「古者，諸侯不秣馬，天子有命，以車就牧。庶人之乘馬者，足以代其勞而已。故行則服桅，止則就犁。今富者連車列騎，驂貳輜軿。中者微輿短轂，繁髦掌蹄。夫一馬伏櫪，當中家六口之食，亡丁男一人之事。
