賢良曰：「賈生有言：『懇言則辭淺而不入，深言則逆耳而失指。』故曰：『談何容易。』談且不易，而況行之乎？此胡建所以不得其死，而吳得幾不免於患也。語曰：『五盜執一良人，枉木惡直繩。』今欲下箴石，通關鬲，則恐有盛、胡之累，懷箴橐艾，則被不工之名。『狼跋其胡，載踕其尾。』君子之路，行止之道固狹耳。此子石所以嘆息也。」
