大夫曰：「魯連有言：『秦權使其士，虜使其民。』故政急而不長。高皇帝受命平暴亂，功德巍巍，惟天同大焉。而文、景承緒潤色之。及先帝征不義，攘無德，以昭仁聖之路，純至德之基，聖王累年仁義之積也。今文學引亡國失政之治，而況之於今，其謂匈奴難圖，宜矣！」
