十二月，甲寅，上幸芙蓉園；丙辰，校獵少陵原。戊午，還宮，從上皇置酒故漢未央宮。上皇命突厥頡利可汗起舞，又命南蠻酋長馮智戴詠詩，既而笑曰：「胡、越一家，自古未有也！」帝奉觴上壽曰：「今四夷入臣，皆陛下教誨，非臣智力所及。昔漢高祖亦從太上皇置酒此宮，妄自矜大，臣所不取也。」上皇大悅。殿上皆呼萬歲。
