上念後不已，於苑中作層觀以望昭陵，嘗引魏徵同登，使視之。征熟視之曰：「臣昏眊，不能見。」上指示之，征曰：「臣以為陛下望獻陵若昭陵，則臣固見之矣。」上泣，為之毀觀。
