乙酉，詔廢太子承乾為庶人，幽於右領軍府。上欲免漢王元昌死，群臣固爭，乃賜自盡於家，而宥其母、妻、子。侯君集、李安儼、趙節、杜荷等皆伏誅。左庶子張玄素、右庶子趙弘智、令狐德棻等以不能諫爭，皆坐免為庶人。餘當連坐者，悉赦之。詹事於志寧以數諫，獨蒙勞勉。以紇干承基為祐川府折衝都尉，爵平棘縣公。
