司馬光：Zizhi Tongjian, Volume 197, Entry 34

初，上與隱太子、巢剌王有隙，密明公贈司空封德彝陰持兩端。楊文幹之亂，上皇欲廢隱太子而立上，德彝固諫而止。其事甚秘，上不之知，薨後乃知之。壬辰，治書侍御史唐臨始追劾其事，請黜官奪爵。上命百官議之，尚書唐儉等議：「德彝罪暴身後，恩結生前，所歷眾官，不可追奪，請降贈改謚。」詔黜其贈官，改謚曰繆，削所食實封。
