李世勣至郁督軍山，其酋長梯真達官帥眾來降。薛延陀咄摩支南奔荒谷，世勣遣通事舍人蕭嗣業往招慰，咄摩支詣嗣業降。其部落猶持兩端，世勣縱兵追擊，前後斬五千餘級，虜男女三萬餘人。秋，七月，咄摩支至京師，拜右武衛大將軍。
