司馬光：Zizhi Tongjian, Volume 198, Entry 21

己丑，齊州人段志衝上封事，請上致政於皇太子；太子聞之，憂形於色，發言流涕。長孫無忌等請誅志沖。上手詔曰：「五嶽陵霄，四海亙地，納污藏疾，無損高深。志沖欲以匹夫解位天子，朕若有罪，是其直也；若其無罪，是其狂也。譬如尺霧障天，不虧於大；寸雲點日，何損於明！」
