吳王問孫武曰：「交地，吾將絶敵，令不得來，必全吾邊城，修其所備，深絶通道，固其隘塞。若不先圖，敵人已備，彼可得來，而吾不可往，為寡又均，則如之何？」武曰：「既我不可以往彼可以來，吾分卒匿之，守而易怠，示其不能，敵人且至，設伏隱廬，出其不意，可以有功也。」
