大夫曰：「吾聞為人臣者盡忠以順職，為人子者致孝以承業。君有非，則臣覆蓋之。父有非，則子匿逃之。故君薨，臣不變君之政，父沒，則子不改父之道也。春秋譏毀泉臺，為其隳先祖之所為，而揚君父之惡也。今鹽、鐵、均輸，所從來久矣，而欲罷之，得無害先帝之功，而妨聖主之德乎？有司倚於忠孝之路，是道殊而不同於文學之謀也。」
