賢良曰：「能言而不能行者，國之寶也。能行而不能言者，國之用也。兼此二者，君子也。無一者，牧童、蓬頭也。言滿天下，德覆四海，周公是也。口言之，躬行之，豈若默然載施其行而已。則執事亦何患何恥之有？今道不舉而務小利，慕於不急以亂群意，君子雖貧，勿為可也。藥酒，病之利也；正言，治之藥也。公卿誠能自強自忍，食文學之至言，去權詭，罷利官，一歸之於民，親以周公之道，則天下治而頌聲作。儒者安得治亂而患之乎？」
