上遣使至涼州，都督李大亮有佳鷹，使者諷大亮使獻之，大亮密表曰：「陛下久絕畋游而使者求鷹。若陛下之意，深乖昔旨；如其自擅，乃是使非其人。」癸卯，上謂侍臣曰：「李大亮可謂忠直。」手詔褒美，賜以胡瓶及荀悅《漢紀》。
