上謂秘書監蕭璟曰：「卿在隋世數見皇后乎？」對曰：「彼兒女且不得見，臣何人，得見之？」魏徵曰：「臣聞煬帝不信齊王，恆有中使察之，聞其宴飲，則曰『彼營何事得遂而喜！』聞其憂悴，則曰『彼有他念故爾。』父子之間且猶如是，況他人乎！」上笑曰：「朕今視楊政道，勝煬帝之於齊王遠矣。」璟，瑀之兄也。
