司馬光：Zizhi Tongjian, Volume 194, Entry 11

後嘗采自古婦人得失事，為《女則》三十卷，又嘗著論駁漢明德馬後以不能抑退外親，使當朝貴盛，徒戒其車如流水馬如龍，是開其禍敗之源而防其末流也。及崩，宮司並《女則》奏之，上覽之悲慟，以示近臣曰：「皇后此書，足以垂范百世！朕非不知天命而為無益之悲，但入宮不復聞規諫之言，失一良佐，故不能忘懷耳！」乃召房玄齡，使復其位。
