時太子當從行，少詹事張行成上疏，以為：「皇太子從幸靈州，不若使之監國，接對百寮，明習庶政，既為京師重鎮，且示四方盛德。宜割私愛，俯從公道。」上以為忠，進位銀青光祿大夫。
