百濟恃高麗之援，數侵新羅；新羅王春秋上表求救。辛亥，以左武衛大將軍蘇定方為神丘道行軍大總管，帥左驍衛將軍劉伯英等水陸十萬以伐百濟。以春秋為嵎夷道行軍總管，將新羅之眾，與之合勢。
