於是以東郭咸陽、孔僅為大農丞，領鹽鐵事；桑弘羊以計算用事，侍中。咸陽，齊之大煮鹽，孔僅，南陽大冶，皆致生累千金，故鄭當時進言之。弘羊，雒陽賈人子，以心計，年十三侍中。故三人言利事析秋豪矣。
