吳王問孫武曰：「敵人保據山險，擅利而處之，糧食又足，挑之則不出，乘間則侵掠，為之奈何？」武曰：「分兵守要，謹備勿懈；潛探其情，密候其怠；以利誘之，禁其樵採。久無所得，自然變改；待離其固，奪其所愛。敵據險隘，我能破之也。」
